Attorney Daniel Chism of Houston; ethical gnome

 

The state of Texas presented Daniel K. Chism with a law license in 2008 after he graduated from the Texas Southern University School of Law.

 

The District 4 Grievance Committee found Danny guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to promptly deliver to his client funds she was entitled to receive

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Texas Supreme Court punished Judge Cano by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
