Attorney Danny Barker II of Mullins, SC; ethical dwarf

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to disqualify himself from matters when disqualification was mandated
• Failed to communicate to all parties appearing before him information wherein his impartiality might be reasonably questioned
• Regularly presided over bond hearings, traffic citations, preliminary hearings, and other matters in which Sheriff's Office deputies who were supervised by Danny’s wife who was a Captain with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office appeared before him

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2022), Danny continues to sit as a Marion County Magistrate Court Judge in Mullins, South Carolina.
