Attorney James Owen of Plattsmouth, NE; moronic slacker

The state of Nebraska presented James Arnold Owen with a law license in 2015 after he graduated from Creighton University School of Law.

The Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to provide competent legal services (moron)
• Lied to client that he had filed a motion to have her case moved to another county
• Charged and/or collected an unreasonable fee

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. May 2022), Jimmy practices his so-called brand of law at 339 Main Street in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
