The state of Michigan presented Susan with a law license in 2000.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #53 found Suzie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Suzie!)
• Neglected a probate matter entrusted to her
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) 
• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Failed to respond to client requests for information
• Failed to refund any advance fees not earned (crook)
• Failed to expedite client’s litigation

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Suzie by gifting her with a complimentary 180-day suspension of her law license. 

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Suzie practices in Farmington Hills, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
