Attorney Carolyn Asquith of Brunswick, ME; slacker, loser

The state of Maine presented Carolyn M. Asquith with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Roger Williams University School of Law. Carolyn also obtained a law license to practice in Massachusetts in 2001.

The Grievance Commission of the Maine Board of Bar Overseers found Carolyn guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Neglected client legal matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Screw you, said Carolyn!)
  • Failed to pay an ordered fee refund to client within 30 days
  • Engaged in conduct involving, fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Carolyn by gifting her with a complimentary 1-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2022), Carolyn practices her so-called brand of law in Brunswick Bangor, Maine.
