The state of Louisiana presented M. Randall Donald with a law license in 1984

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found M. Randall guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to act with due diligence
2. Failed to refund unearned fee (cheater)
3. Failed to communicate with client
4. Converted client funds to personal use
5. Refused to acknowledge wrongful nature of acts
6. Misconduct involved selfish or dishonest motive
7. Totally indifferent to refunding unearned fee to client (Up yours, said M. Randall!)

As one would suspect, this wasn’t M. Randall’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to M. Randall.
