The state of Kansas presented Terrence J. Malone with a law license in 1993

The Kansas Disciplinary Board found Terry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Misconduct caused actual harm to his former client
• Misconduct placed client’s liberty in peril
• Terry wrongfully reported to law enforcement that S.R. had stolen Terry's
• motorcycle
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to act with candor in dealing with a tribunal
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Knowingly mad false statement of fact or law to a tribunal or fail to correct a false statement of material fact or law previously made to the tribunal
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Violated his duty to his clients and to the public
• Exhibited indifference to making restitution to his client
• Used information from former client to the disadvantage of said client
• Terry’s behavior that led to this disciplinary complaint was motivated by selfishness grounded in his misguided desire to teach his client a lesson in responsibility, including not burdening the client’s mother with his debts

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2023), Terry practices his so-called brand of law at 903 Marsha Lane in Dodge City, Kansas.
