Attorney Andrew Agard of Honolulu; convicted tax cheat

 

The state Hawaii presented Andrew A. Agard (AAA) with a law license in 1987 after he graduated from Yale University School of Law.

 

Disciplinary Counsel found Andy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  1. Convicted of intentionally and knowingly filing a false U.S. individual income tax return
  2. Falsely claimed total gross receipts of $294,162 when in fact the was substantially in excess of $600,000
  3. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  4. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  5. Demonstrated dishonest and selfish motive involving his criminal conduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Hawaii Supreme Court punished Andy by gifting him a complimentary 4-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2019), Andy practices with the Law Office of Andrew A. Agard at 1314 South King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
