Attorney Gil Arbel of Valley Village, CA; rubber check aficionado

The state of California presented Gil Lee Arbel with a law license in 2014 after he graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Law.

The State Bar Court found Gil guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Involved in nine counts of mishandling client trust account
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Issued checks on insufficient funds account (rubber)
• Paid personal and business expenses with client trust account funds
• Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Gil by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. July 2020), Gil practices with the Law Office of Gil L. Arbel at 5404 Whitsett Avenue in Valley Village, California.
