Attorney Kamran Behnam of Encino, CA; convicted fraudster

The state of California provided Kamran Behnam with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from the University of LaVerne Law School in Woodland Hills, California.

The California State Bar found Kam guilty of the following misconduct.

• Charged with felony insurance fraud
• Pled no contest to misdemeanor insurance fraud
• Received two personal injury referrals from auto body shop owner engaged in insurance fraud scheme
• Instructed two undercover police officers to lie to an insurance adjuster about an accident in which their car purportedly had been damaged
• Offered the officers $500 for additional referrals and admitted he paid the auto body shop owner $1,000 for one referral and $500 for another

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Kam by gifting him with a complimentary 5-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2017), Kam practices with the Law Offices of Kamran Behnam at 15760 Ventura Blvd in Encino, California.
