Attorney John Geiger of Alexandria, LA; ethical dwarf

The state of Louisiana presented John C. Geiger with a law license in 1980.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Negligently provided non-lawyer employee access to accounts containing client and third-party funds
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Negligence led to employee misappropriating (stealing) client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny

As we speak (ca. February 2015) Johnny practices at 6343 Twin Bridges Road in Alexandria, Louisiana.
