Sheriff Joe Arpaio Today’s “Caloric Intake” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Joey. In the past, he has been the recipient of six (6) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion pieces are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
Over the past forty-seven years (ca. 1967 to 2015), Joey has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. In fact, if it wasn’t for a government check, Joey would likely be working as a janitor or greeter at a local Wal-Mart store in the Phoenix area.
Joey’s celebrated status as die-in-the-wool bigot in regards to Hispanics and Muslims is well documented.
In a recent (01/30/15) news release, Joey announced that he would run for a seventh term as the titular head of the Maricopa County law enforcement apparatus by seeing another term as Sheriff and Gabby Hayes Wannabee despite the fact that he is 82-years-old.
FYI: Gabby Hayes played the part of Windy Halliday, the sidekick to Hopalong Cassidy. He also appeared as a sidekick, sometimes as a straight or villainous character in 15 movies that starred John Wayne. Gabby hung up his spurs and saddle when he passed away at the age of 83.
Joey sent out an email seeking donations in an election he laughingly said would pit him against ‘celebrity lefties” who were trying to defeat him. Joey then said in his email:
“Going up against Barack Obama's political machine, Hollywood leftists and their millions as well as a hostile local and national media is extremely expensive, which is why I need your financial support.”
Joey belongs to a group of Bigoted Morons that claimed that they did not believe Obama was born in the U.S. of A. In fact, in 2012, Joey laughingly claimed that a “volunteer posse” had investigated Obama’s birth certificate and determined it was fraudulent. Of course Joey never disclosed the names of this so-called posse. And the reason he didn’t is because no such posse ever existed.
Congrats Joey; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Morons”; you are far too humble.
