Attorney James Guesman of North Las Vegas; wife beating loser

The state of Nevada presented James Edward Guesman with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from the University of Arizona Law School.

In one matter, Jimmy was arrested after his girlfriend told police that he put his hands around her neck and slammer her head against a wall. The assault took place during the time Jimmy was employed as a Justice Court judge.

Jimmy laughingly defended himself by saying she bumped up against him in anger during an argument, slipped on the carpet, spun around and fell to the floor hitting her head. It is patently clear that Jimmy missed his calling as a standup comedian.

After Jimmy was convicted, he said in part:

  • “I’m definitely appealing, and in the end justice will prevail.”
  • “But I won’t be a judge.”
  • “Everywhere I go from now on I'll lose votes, and I can't go through the appeal process before the election.”

As expected, Jimmy’s appeal was a worthless effort in futility. He was then sentenced to two days in jail, $315 fine, and six months of weekly domestic violence counseling.

An unreliable source indicated that decided to receive domestic violence counseling at the Mel Gibson Institute for Domestic Abusers located in Burbank, California.

As we speak (January 2015), Jimmy practices at 3550 West Cheyenne Avenue in North Las Vegas, Nevada.
