Attorney Travis Simpson of Winston Salem; repeat offender

The state of North Carolina presented Travis H. Simpson with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from North Carolina Central University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar charged Travis with the following misconduct.

Travis’ 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to perform any meaningful work on client’s case for six (6) years
• Failed to file necessary lawsuit on client’s behalf
• Failed to respond to inquires from client’s health insurance provider
• Failed to settle client’s claims
• Failed to timely cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Travis!)
• Engaged in multiple instances of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Travis by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Travis’ 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Travis!)
• Response to ethics investigators was reckless in regards to the truth
• Failed to respond to client calls over a 2-year period of time
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to keep client apprised of status of legal matter

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Travis by gifting him with a second complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. November 2014) Travis practices with the Law Office of Travis H. Simpson in Winston Salem, North Carolina.
