Attorney John Alford of Covington, LA; convict

The state of Louisiana presented John Salm Alford with a law license in 2008

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny pleaded no contest (guilty in effect) to a criminal misdemeanor while he was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Johnny.

As we speak (ca) November 2014) Johnny practices with the Saint Tammany District Attorney’s Office at 701 North Columbia Street in Covington, Louisiana.
