Attorney Charles Agee Jr. of Dyersburg, TN; ethical misfit

 

The state of Tennessee provided Charles Maurice Agee Jr. with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Memphis Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

 

In one matter, Charlie admitted that he had done favors for Judge Lanier that included a trip to the Bahamas. In addition, Charlie drove Judge Lanier to Memphis to socialize with female employees.

 

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
