Attorney William Cameron of Cookeville, TN; ethical goblin

The state of Tennessee provided William Arnold Cameron with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

While representing a client charged with driving under the influence (DUI), Billy implied that he could get special consideration from the arresting officer because he had previously represented the officer in a divorce action.

Billy subsequently billed his client an additional fee, which he then used to pay the attorney fees the officer owed to Billy.

And lastly, Billy failed to cooperate with ethics investigators. Put simply, Dave said, Up Yours!

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Billy practices at 100 South Jefferson Avenue in Cookeville, Tennessee.
