Attorney Randy Fuerst of Lake Charles, LA; ethical gremlin

The state of Louisiana presented Kearney Randy J. Fuerst with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Loyola University Law School in New Orleans.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Randy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Used client information to disadvantage of client
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Randy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 30-day suspension of his law license.

In truth the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Randy.
