The District of Columbia presented Melodie V. Shuler with a law license in 2004.

The DC Bar Counsel found Matt guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to appear at hearing on client’s behalf
• Failed to timely withdraw from client’s case as required
• Intentionally disclosed client confidences and secrets

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Melodie by gifting her with a complimentary informal admonition.
