Attorney Leo Akulian of Clovis, CA; serial liar

The state of California provided Leo Astor Akulian with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Monterey College of Law, which is a fourth tier school dedicated to serving losers that couldn’t gain acceptance at mainstream schools like UCLA, USC or Pepperdine.

The California State Bar Court found Leo guilty of the following misconduct.

Leo’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter intentionally lied to his clients (victims) that their personal injury claims had been settled and that the insurance company had paid out the settlement funds.

On at least occasions, Leo gave the clients 14 false settlement checks totaling $53,000. He also provided the clients with fabricated settlements and releases.

Leo’s purpose for lying to his clients was in order to conceal his gross negligent from his clients in order to avoid claims for legal malpractice.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Leo by gifting him with a second complimentary 90-Day suspension of his law license.

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
• Failed to respond to client’s status inquiries
• Gross negligence led to statute of limitations expiring on client’s claims
