Attorney Douglas Fredericks of Virginia Beach; ethical misfit

The state of Virginia presented Douglas Fredericks with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from William & Mary University Law School.

The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
  2. Failed to preserve the identity of client funds
  3. Failed to comply with record keeping requirements
  4. Failed to avoid even the appearance of impropriety
  5. Improperly handled monies in conjunction with another attorney
  6. Trafficked monies through his and another attorney’s trust accounts
  7. Failed to keep adequate trust account records

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Doug by giving him with a second complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. Jan 2014), Doug practices at 138 Thames Drive in Virginia Beach, Virgina.
