Attorney Douglas Fredericks of Virginia Beach; ethical misfit
The state of Virginia presented Douglas Fredericks with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from William & Mary University Law School.
The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.
- Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit or misrepresentation
- Failed to preserve the identity of client funds
- Failed to comply with record keeping requirements
- Failed to avoid even the appearance of impropriety
- Improperly handled monies in conjunction with another attorney
- Trafficked monies through his and another attorney’s trust accounts
- Failed to keep adequate trust account records
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Doug by giving him with a second complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. Jan 2014), Doug practices at 138 Thames Drive in Virginia Beach, Virgina.
