Attorney Steven Appelget of St. Paul, MN; ethical misfit

The state of Minnesota presented Steven Thomas Appelget with a law license in 1993.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Steven guilty of the following misconduct.
  • Failed to remit mortgage payments to lender on client’s behalf resulting in the commencement of foreclosure proceedings against the client (victim)
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to keep required trust account books and records
  • Falsely certified to Supreme Court he kept appropriate account records
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2014), Steven practices at 1102 Grand Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota.
