The California State Bar Court found Starr guilty of the following misconduct.

Frank found it acceptable to lie to the State Bar that he had met his MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) requirements when in fact she had not completed any courses within the compliance period.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California State Bar Court punished Frank by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
