The state of Georgia presented Jefferson Lee Adams with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.
The Georgia State Bar found Jefferson guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, a client hired Jefferson to represent him in a divorce case. Jefferson filed the complaint but failed to appear at the court scheduled calendar call. When Jefferson failed to appear for trial, the court dismissed the case for failure to prosecute.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Jefferson by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. August 2013), Jefferson practices in the Jackson, Georgia area.
