The state of California provided James Lynn Bauchert with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from California Southern Law School in Riverside, California, which is a 4th tier school dedicated to serving losers that couldn’t gain acceptance at mainstream schools like UCLA, USC or Pepperdine.
The State Bar Court found James guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, a client hired Jimmy to file her petition for divorce, but fired him after he failed to meet a Feb. 24, 2012 deadline for filing the petition as she had instructed him to do. Jimmy then failed to refund the $3,000 advance fee he wasn’t entitled too.
In another matter, Jimmy failed to provide any valuable services to his clients in regards to a divorce case. He then refused to return $5,000 in unearned fees.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished James by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.
In truth, the comedians sitting on the Bar Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
