Rep. Michele Bachman (R-MN): Today’s “Tina Fey” Award Winner
This isn’t the first Award presented to Michelle. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-one (21) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of seven (7) opinion pieces. During the recent (April 2013) debate in the House of Representatives ending the furloughs of air traffic controllers, Michele responded to comments by Democrats decrying the impact of sequester on poorer Americans, notably reductions in programs such as Head Start, meals on Wheels and nutrition programs for children by spewing forth the following comedic lines.
“That breaks everyone’s hearts.” Tina went on to say that she voted against the sequester because she knew such “calamities” would happen.
Of course Tina never used the term “calamities” when expressing her support for the sequester. Tina’s only complaint about the sequester was that it did not cut spending deeper and faster on the programs she laughing claimed “breaks everyone’s hearts.”
And this Moron actually had the chutzpah to claim that she was qualified to be the President of the United States.
Congrats Michele; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of America’s Most Unappreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
