The state of Michigan presented Allen N. Davey with a law license in 1977.
The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found Allen guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Allen held $10,000 in a trust account to settle a client’s claims. He then took off for Hawaii and deposited the $10,000 into his own personal checking account.
Subsequently, he wrote checks to opposing counsel for the $10,000; however, the checks bounced.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board punished Alln by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. March 2013), Allen practices at 1099 Alakea Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.
