Attorney K. Kay Shearin of Elsmere, DE; vindictive bully

The state of Delaware presented K. Kay Shearin with a law license in 1986. Shearin is also licensed to practice in Washington D.D.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Shearin guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  2. Refused to acknowledge the wrongful nature of her conduct
  3. Failed to exhibit any remorse
  4. Intentionally failed to abide by disciplinary board rules (Up Yours, said Kay!)
  5. Continuously degraded judicial officers in personal terms
  6. Intentionally engaged in misconduct
At one time, Shearin was involved with Bishop Jackson and the AUMP church. Subsequently, Shearin and Jackson filed a civil rights action in Federal District Court wherein they sued numerous state judges and the trustees of the AUMP church in an effort to gain control over the assets of the AUMP church. Shearin lost the case when a final judgment was entered which upheld the Congregation’s right to use and govern the church properties and enjoined (prohibited) Shearin and the Bishop from interfering with the Congregation’s rights to use and enjoy the church properties.

At a later date, Shearin was found in contempt of court for her attempts to put at issue the Congregation’s quiet title to the church properties. The contempt order resulted in the Delaware Supreme Court punishing Shearin by gifting her with a 1-year suspension of her law license.

Shearin’s lawsuit against sitting judges, et al. was deemed to be frivolous conduct. Shearin was also found guilty of intentionally interfering with the Congregation’s right to the peaceful use of its property even after the trial court issued an order prohibiting such conduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Delaware Supreme Court punished Shearin by gifting her with a complimentary 3-year suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Shearin practices at 1301 Maple Avenue in Elsmere, Delaware.
