The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found John guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Knowingly exceeded the scope of the representation of his client
  2. Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him
  3. Failed to communicate with client
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
