The Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board found Kathleene guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Clay was court-appointed to represent a client on an appeal to the Virginia Supreme Court. Clay then filed the Petition for Appeal but failed to file the required Notice of Appeal, which led the Court to dismiss the client’s appeal.
In another matter, Clay was hired by Darrell Williams on a drug distribution charge. Williams was later convicted. Clay’s appeal to the Court of Appeals was denied. He then filed a petition for appeal with the Virginia Supreme Court; however, Clay the Moron failed to file the required Notice of Appeal, which led the Court to dismiss the client’s appeal.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Board punished Clay by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. March 2013), Clay continues to practice in the Quinton, Virginia area.
