Attorney S. Pal Asija of Shelton, CT; deadbeat loser

The state of Connecticut provided S. Pal Asija with a law license in 1983.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Asija guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Ray Arjomand filed a small claims action against Asija. After a hearing was held before a magistrate, Ray prevailed and was awarded a judgment and costs against Asija of $2,450. The trial court ordered Asija to make weekly payments of $35 to satisfy the $2,450 judgment.

Asija did not file an appeal of the magistrates order. Thereafter, Asija refused to pay the small claims judgment. It wasn’t until almost one year later and only after Ray filed a grievance against Asija that he finally paid the court ordered judgment.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Asija by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2013) Asija practices Our Pal LLC at 7 Woonsocket Avenue, in Shelton, Connecticut.
