Attorney John Walker of Arcadia, CA; ethical leprechaun

The state of California provided John Paul Walker with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California.

The California Bar Court found John guilty of misconduct in failing to provide competent legal representation (Dufus) involving two clients.

In one matter, John failed to attend two court scheduled pre-trail conferences in a worker’s compensation case.

Another matter involved a personal injury case. The trial court dismissed the client’s case on its own initiative. When the client learned of the dismissal by reviewing the court file, he asked John to further prosecute the case. However, John took no further action on his client’s behalf.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t John’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary 10-month suspension of his law license for engaging in the following misconduct.
  • Misappropriation (stealing) settlement funds
  • Failed to prove competent legal representation (moron)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished John by gifting him with a complimentary 180-daysuspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2013) John practices with John Walker & Associates at 411 East Huntington Drive in Arcadia, California.
