Attorney Richard Fisher of Grambling, LA; serial offender

The state of Louisiana presented Richard R. Fisher with a law license in 1982.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Michael guilty of the following misconduct.

Richard found it acceptable to engage in the practice of law during the time his license was suspended. Had Richard engaged in the Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) in California, he could have faced felony charges.

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Richard’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree as set forth below.
  1. 01/06/1995 – Received complimentary admonition for failing to cooperate w/disciplinary investigation
  2. 01/21/1995 - Received another complimentary admonition for practicing law while license suspended
  3. 06/05/1995 – Received another complimentary admonition for lack of diligence (slacker), and failure to communicate with clients
  4. 02/11/200 – Received his 4th complimentary admonition for lack of diligence (slacker), and failure to communicate with clients
As a consequence of his misconduct, the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Richard by gifting him with a stayed 180-day suspension of his law license. In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Richard.

As we speak (ca) February 2013) Richard practices at 843 Rwe Jones Drive in Grambling, Louisiana.
