Attorney Felix DeJean IV of Baton Rouge; ethical dwarf

The state of Louisiana presented Felix Anthony DeJean IV with a law license in 1997.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Felix guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Failed to provide competent legal representation (moron)
  2. Failed to act with reasonable diligence (slacker)
In one matter, Felix relied on the false representations of his client, and failed to verify the identity of the persons who appeared before him for the purpose of executing a notary. Put simply, Felix displayed a total lack of concern as to his duty to assure that the persons who appeared before him to have a document notarized were actually who they claimed to be. What a loser!

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Felix by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2012) Felix practices with the DeJean Law Office, LLC at 604 Saint Ferdinand Street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
