Attorney Herman Castete of Winnfield, LA; repeat offender

The state of Louisiana presented Herman A. Castete with a law license in 1973.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Herman guilty of the following misconduct.
  1. Misconduct involved a dishonest or selfish motive
  2. Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  3. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigation (Up Yours, said Herman!)
After being fired by the Louisiana Housing Assistance Corporation, Lorraine Flagg hired Herman to represent her in a wrongful discharge claim. Due to Herman’s gross negligence, Lorraine’s claim was dismissed. Despite this fact, Herman continued to lie to Lorraine by telling her that he claim was still viable.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Herman by gifting him with a complimentary 18-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca) September 2012) Herman practices at 116 West Main Street in Winnfield, Louisiana.
