Attorney Bruce Weiner of Los Angeles; serial offender

 
The state of California provided Bruce Steven Weiner with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Southwestern University Law School in Los Angeles.
 
The California Bar Court found Bruce guilty of misconduct on several occasions as set forth below.
 
Bruce’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 1998 

 
The enablers for Attorney Misfits punished Bruce for engaging in a variety of misconduct by gifting him with a complimentary 12-month term of probation.
 
Bruce’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 1999
  1. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while license suspended
  2. Accepted a case wherein he accepted a laptop computer as advance legal fees
  3. Failed to return calls from client
  4. Never prepared any documents on client’s behalf
  5. Refused to return laptop to client after he was fired
  6. Collected illegal fees (crook)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a stayed 12-month suspension of his law license
 
Bruce’s 3rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2001

  1. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while license suspended
  2. Failed to cooperate with Bar Court’s investigation (Up Yours, said Bruce!)
  3. Failed to comply with prior conditions of probation
As a consequence of his 2nd bite at the Misfit Tree, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a stayed 120-day suspension of his law license.
 
Bruce’s 4th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2002

  1. Failed to pass Ethics test (So?)
  2. Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law while license suspended
  3. Refused to refund unearned fees (cheater)
  4. Collected an illegal fee (thief)
  5. Failed to cooperate with Bar Court’s investigation (Up Yours, said Bruce!)
  6. Wrote at least one rubber check
  7. Demanded that a client deposit funds in his personal account to cover rubber checks
As a consequence of his 3rd bite at the Misfit Tree, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the California Bar Court punished Bruce by gifting him with a stayed 60-day suspension of his law license.
 
Bruce’s 5th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree – 2012
 
In May 2012, the State Bar Court filed a variety of misconduct charges against Bruce. No findings have been made as of this time (ca. September 2012).
 
Given the conduct of the comedians sitting on the State Bar Court in assuring that Attorney Misfits are able to continue to prey on an unsuspecting public, I’m sure they’ll punish Bruce by gifting him with yet another useless 12-month suspension of his law license.
 

Is it any wonder that the vast majority of Californians have total contempt for the process in which Attorney Misfits are held accountable for engaging in egregious misconduct?
 
As we speak (ca. September 2012) Bruce practices at 18000 Studebaker Road in Los Angeles, California.
