Attorney Steve Skivington of Las Vegas; repeat offender

The state of Arizona provided Steve Skivington with a law license in 1980.
  1. Wrote bad check to client re: settlement funds (rubber)
  2. Used other client funds to pay settlement funds to another client
  3. Made false statements to clients regarding settlement funds
  4. Failed to produce requested trust documents to disciplinary authorities
  5. Failed to properly maintain client trust accounts
  6. Submitted false evidence to disciplinary authorities
In one matter, Steve had the audacity to file a civil lawsuit against his client to collect on fees he had already received from the client (victim).

This wasn’t Steve’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary informal reprimands and in another case received a complimentary three year period of probation.

As we speak (ca. August 2012) Steve is now practicing law in Las Vegas.
