Attorney Ronald Frahm of Colby, KS; convicted drunk

The state of Kansas provided Ronald L. Frahm with a law license in 1965 after he graduated from Washburn University School of Law

The Kansas Board for Discipline of Attorneys found Ronnie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • In a drunken stupor, while Ronnie drove his white Acura erratically on 1-35 in Johnson County, Kansas, sped up and slowed down, swerving from lane to lane
  • Angel Zubia and his pregnant wife, Yolanda Escamilla, occupied another car on 1-35
  • Ronnie’s car clipped the Zubia's car, causing his car to collide with the retaining wall separating the highway, his rear bumper to come off his car, and his car to spin around
  • Ronnie violated his duty to the public to maintain his personal integrity
  • Charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, and leaving the scene of an accident
  • Charged with two counts of aggravated battery, a level 8 felony

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2026), Ronnie practices his so-called brand of at 135 West 6th Street in Colby, Kansas.
