Attorney Terry Simon of Monroe, WA; ethical troll

The state of Washington provided Terry Hood Simon with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Puget Sound Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Terry guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

•  Failed to maintain required trust account records
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to advise client of status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to reconcile a trust account check register to a combined total of client ledgers
• Commingled personal funds with client funds
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Terry!)
• Failed to promptly pay or deliver funds to the client that they were entitled to receive

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington

State Supreme Court punished Terry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (ca. September 2025), Terry practices his so-called brand of law at 113 North Lewis Street in Monroe, Washington.
