Judge Robert Martinez of Kansas City, KS; ethical elf

The state of Kansas presented Robert Anthony Martinez with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Bobby guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Allowed external influences to affect his judicial conduct
• Improperly allowed two high school students to sit with him at the bench
• Engaged in impropriety and/or the appearance of impropriety
• Failed to act to promote public confidence in the judiciary

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. March 2025), Bobby practices his so-called brand of jurisprudence as a Wyandotte County District Court judge in Kansas City, Kansas.
