Former Judge Ed Parks of Norwich, KS; ethical elf

The state of Kansas presented Ed Parks with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The Commission on Judicial Qualifications found Eddie guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Record keeping was disorganized
• Maintained illegible and/or incomplete records
• Failed to properly dispose of cases in his court
• Lacked control over financial instruments used to pay fines and fees
• Lacked any financial accounting
• Failed to report convictions to state agencies

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Kansas Supreme Court punished Eddie by gifting him with a laughable cease and desist order.

As we speak (ca. May 2025), it is rumored that Eddie has an application pending for a job as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter Store at 2022 East 16th Street in Wellington, Kansas.
