Attorney Kimura Sosuke of Japan; deadbeat loser

The state of New York presented Yumiko Hanaeda with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law.

The First Department Grievance Committee found Kimura guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with mandatory biennial attorney registration
• Failed to pay biennial attorney registration fee of $375 (a measly $187.50 a year)
• Eddy failed to pay register and pay the mandatory fee even after he was notified and given an opportunity to cure his default

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee punished Kimura by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2024), Kimura practices his so-called brand of law with the Nagashima Ohno & Tsunematsu Law Firm at JP Tower 2-7-2 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-Ku in Tokyo, Japan.
