Louisiana State Sen. Thomas Pressly; Misogynistic Moron

Unfortunately, the state of Louisiana presented Thomas Pressley with a law license in 2013 after he graduated from the Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.

In a never-ending attempt to establish his bona fides as a misogynistic misfit (M&M), Tommy is sponsoring legislation that would classify two common medications (mifepristone and misoprostol) used for abortions as controlled dangerous substances in Louisiana, even though they have proven to be safe and effective.

Tommy’s asinine legislation would make possession of mifepristone and/or misoprostol without a valid prescription punishable by up to five years in prison, despite the fact these drugs have uses beyond inducing abortion.

Let’s compare the five-year sentence for possession of mifepristone or misoprostol to the sentences for actual crimes.

• Domestic abuse aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon of a spouse conviction results in imprisonment for 1 to five years and a fine of not more than $5,000.00
• Incest conviction between an uncle and a niece leads to $1,000 fine and no more than five years in prison
• Domestic Violence (beating wife) – 1^st offense $300-$1,000 fine + 30 days in jail
• Domestic Violence (beating wife) – 2^nd offense $750-$1,000 fine + 60 days in jail

Seemingly, Tommy is less concerned with dealing with wives in Louisiana being assaulted by their spouses and/or nieces being forced into having sex with Uncle Jeb.

In addition to the $32,000 income as a state senator, Tommy supplements said income by practicing his so-called brand of law with Pettiette, Armand, Dunkelman, Woodley & Cromwell at 400 Texas Street in Shreveport, Louisiana.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Tommy continues to sit as a member of the Louisiana State Senate. His annual income as a State Senator is $16,800 salary, $6,000 in expense reimbursements and $10,000.00 in per diem payments,

for a total of over $32,000.00.
