Attorney Richard Root of New Orleans, LA; lying loser

The state of Louisiana presented Richard L. Root with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Dick guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

  • Made a false statement of fact or law to a third person and/or a tribunal
  • Failed to correct a false statement of material fact or law previously made to the tribunal
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty, or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 3-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Dick.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), Dick practices his so-called brand of law at 2500 Hudson Place in New Orleans, Louisiana.
