Attorney Jesse Lagarde of Hammond, LA; slacker, loser

The state of Louisiana presented Jesse P. Lagarde with a law license in 2018 after he graduated from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Jesse guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to communicate with his client in a timely manner
• Failed to meet with his client
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to withdraw from the representation of his client when required to so act
• Failed to comply with reasonable client information requests
• Violated or attempted to violate the Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Jesse by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2024), Jesse practices his so-called brand of law at in Hammond, Louisiana.
