Attorney J. Quentin Simon of Lafayette, LA; ethical dwarf

The state of Louisiana presented J. Quentin Simon with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana School of Law.

The Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board found Quentin guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise a non-lawyer employee
• Failure to supervise office employee resulted in the employee’s embezzlement of funds belonging to Quentin

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Quentin by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Quentin.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Quentin  fails to mention the misconduct set forth above on his self-serving website at www.jminossimon.com. Apparently, he decided to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients so that he would not limit his future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. October 2024), Quentin practices his so-called brand of law with J Minos Simon Ltd at 1408 West Pinhook Road in Lafayette, Louisiana.
