Judge Guy Bradberry of Lake Charles, LA; dimwitted scofflaw

The State of Louisiana provided Guy Ernest Bradberry with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Louisiana State University School of Law.

FYI:Guy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-three (33) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the greater Lake Charles area was about to officer Guy a good paying job.

The Judiciary Commission of Louisiana found Guy guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to allow a party an opportunity to be heard by way of defense or mitigation prior to his incarceration (aka, due process)
• Guy mishandled recusal procedures in various cases
• On at least ten occasions, Guy recused himself from specific cases despite the fact there was no reason for him to so act
• Guy’s improper recusals led to needless delay to the parties and families involved in said matters
• Failed to uphold the integrity and independence of the judiciary
• Failed to respect and comply with the law (scofflaw)
• Failed to act in a manner that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary
• Failed to maintain professional competence in the law (dimwit)
• Failed to dispose of all judicial matters promptly, efficiently, and fairly
• Engaged in willful misconduct relating to his official duty
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Conduct brought his judicial office into disrepute

It appears that Guy believes that “due process” is the means by which the grass becomes moist in the a.m. in Lake Charles.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Louisiana Supreme Court punished Guy by gifting him with a complimentary censure and ordered to pay $1,548.00 in costs incurred by the Commission.

As we speak (ca. June 2024), Guy continues to dispense his so-called version of jurisprudence as a 3^rd Circuit Court judge in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
