Attorney K. Alexandra Monaco of Las Vegas; ignoramus, repeater

The state of Nevada presented K. Alexandra Monaco with a law license in 2005 after she graduated Boston University School of Law. 

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Alex guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

Alex’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with his client
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to so act
• Failed to properly supervise underlings

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Alex’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Knowingly violated the duty when you failed to deposit, and hold, the Client’s funds related to the U-Visa Petition until reasonably earned
• Never deposited the U-Visa Petition fees into a Client Trust Account
• Did not correlate any quantity of work performed on the clients’ behalf with the transfer, or use, of fees to himself
• Client was injured by your conduct because he paid a significant sum and did not receive the agreed upon filed petition or any benefit from Alex’s work
• Failed to comply with client information requests

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Alex by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

And lastly, as one would suspect, Alex fails to mention the above misconduct on her self-serving website at www.themonacolawgroup.net. Apparently, she chose to conceal this relevant information from prospective clients for the purpose of not limiting her future victim pool.

As we speak (ca. March 2024), Alex practices her so-called brand of law with The Monaco Law Group Ltd. at 3101 Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas, Nevada.
