Attorney Tristan Rivera of Las Vegas; ignoramus, slacker

The state of Nevada presented Tristan F. Rivera with a law license in 2011 after she graduated from the University of Nevada School of Law. 

The Nevada Disciplinary Board found Tristan guilty of engaging in the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (ignoramus)
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law in California where she wasn’t licensed
• Improperly began sending out letters of representation to multiple insurance companies in California
• Improperly retained by California resident to pursue personal injury claim
• Failed to advise improperly retained client contact licensed attorney
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nevada Supreme Court punished Tristan by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2024), Tristan practices her so-called brand of law with Kerr Simpson Attorneys at Law at 2900 Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada.
