U.S. Judge Daniel Domenico of Denver, CO; serial slacker

The state of Colorado presented Daniel Desmond Domenico with a law license in 2018 after he graduated from Georgetown University School of Law.

FYI: Former President Donald Trump was duped into appointing Danny as a District Court Judge in 2019. Danny didn’t receive the appointment because he was the most qualified attorney in the greater Denver area. He received it because he had proven to be a reliable lackey for the local political hacks.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• After ascending to the bench in 2019, Danny’s list of motions pending longer than six months steadily began to climb
• By September 2021, the backlog crossed into triple digits and ballooned to nearly 200 in 2022
• As of March 31, 2024, Danny’s backlog of cases requiring rulings was the fourth (4th) highest in the county out of more than 1,200 district and magistrate judges

It goes without saying that Danny doesn’t much care if he fails to issue rulings in a timely fashion. He well knows that no federal judge has ever been removed from his/her office for being a serial slacker. And furthermore, he obviously doesn’t care about the unfortunate litigants that are forced to wait for him to issue a ruling.

Put simply, Danny will continue to receive an annual taxpayer funded annual salary of $243,300, which equates to $4,679.00 a week whether he performs any judicial services or not.

As we speak (ca. January 2024), Danny continues to dispense his so-called idea of jurisprudence when he is inclined to do some work as a Colorado District Court Judge in Denver, Colorado.
